The text clearly describes how the performer can control cards which are inserted into the pack one-at-a-time and apparently squared with the deck. The MPT Control, however, enables the performer to maintain control over the cards at all times. Whenever the performer chooses the cards can be brought to either the top or bottom go the deck. The basic control idea can be used for a single card, several selected cards, as a substitute for the conventional multiple shifts, etc. In addition to the versatile MPT Control itself, a number of handling refinements are described and illustrated to permit the reader to get the most use from the MPT Control

The magician that has some knowledge of card magic and sleight of hand methods with cards, will be able to put the MPT Control to good use. The MPT Control is Not recommended for newcomers to card magic.
