This English penny copper-colored coin is used in many magical coin routines. The coins we have in stock have been in circulation but are in Fine condition with a bright and shiny finish.
The 1967 UK penny obverse features the laureate bust of young Queen Elizabeth II facing right, with the surrounding legend: "ELIZABETH-II-DEI-GRATIA-REGINA-F:D"
The reverse side shows Britannia seated facing right, wearing a helmet, holding a trident, hand resting on a shield, with the words "ONE PENNY'" in the fields, and date below. A lighthouse is in the background to the left of Britannia.

This is a genuine English penny coin. This is /was real United Kingdom currency, the coin is not gimmicked in any way for magic effects. You use an English penny in a number of coin effects. Since it is copper in color, it makes any coin switch trick even more visual, as you are changing a silver color, like a Kennedy Half Dollar coin into a copper colored one. You can also use this English penny to replace those that are used in some gimmicked coin sets.
English pennies are copper colored and are approximately the same size as a U.S. half dollar. The copper color will tarnish over time.
