This vintage Maverick Long-Short Deck—also known as a Svengali or Miracle Deck—was manufactured by Stancraft Products, a division of The Standard Packaging Corporation, Minneapolis, Minnesota. These decks date back to approximately 1973 and have been tucked away in storage for over four decades.

Each deck includes 48 bridge-size cards with red backs and is specially prepared to force the Nine of Diamonds—perfect for classic routines and self-working miracles that even beginners can master in minutes. These are unused decks, but the boxes are not shrink-wrapped, likely because the decks were assembled after printing as Svengali-style decks.

You’ll also receive the original 1973 copyright instruction sheet with simple routines using the Long-Short principle—ideal for collectors or performers who appreciate tried-and-true methods.
