A large plastic needle or stick with a thread loop attached is placed through the buttonhole of a spectator’s shirt or jacket. The spectator is then challenged to remove it. It looks like it should be easy… until they try.

The more they pull, twist, and examine it, the more impossible it seems. Then the performer takes it back and removes it almost instantly.
