​CHARGE takes classic credit-card magic and gives it a fresh, modern makeover that is perfect for today’s close-up performer.

In 1992, Jerry Mentzer published Magic with Credit Cards, which introduced his original Credit Card Monte and his credit-card adaptation of Bert Allerton’s famous Two Card Trick. Working under license from Magic Methods, James Keatley and Chris James have brought these routines into the 21st century with newly designed cards, updated presentations, additional effects, and professionally produced video instruction. 

The specially printed cards look and feel like modern bank and credit cards, making the magic appear natural, relevant, and completely at home in your wallet. There is no need to carry a deck of playing cards or unusual-looking props. Simply remove the cards from your wallet and you are ready to perform.

The featured Credit Card Monte routine plays like a fast-paced demonstration of financial confusion. Just when the spectator believes they understand which card is which, the cards repeatedly and impossibly change places—leading to a surprising final revelation.

CHARGE also includes Fully Charged, Shake the Rainbow, and additional ideas and routines designed to give you several different ways to use the supplied cards. The complete collection is expertly taught through online video instruction by Pigcake. 

The set also includes access to Colours, an iOS shortcut produced by David Jonathan that allows a selected color to appear on a phone screen or wallpaper. JAK Magic also advertises an Android-friendly web application called Tones, although its product page states that the Android feature is scheduled to become available later in summer 2026.
