The Phoenix, edited & produced by Walter Gibson and Bruce Elliott, was an excellent periodical which spanned the magic spectrum from close-up magic, to cards, to platform effects suitable for larger audiences. The 300 issues of The Phoenix were reprinted years ago by Louis Tannen and then by D.Robbins Magic as hardcover books approximately 8 3/4" by 11" in size. Each volume contains 50 of the original Phoenix.
